Aluminum Coils
Due to their mechanical features, in addition to a wide variety of thickness and finishes, aluminum coils are suitable for use in diverse applications, such as packaging, print, electronics, electricity and construction.
Aluminum for packaging provides a longer term high barrier for protection of the package content against oxygen and moisture, such as food, liquid drinks, pharmaceuticals, cosmetic products, and more. Aluminum coils are suitable for all types of laminates, including low tensions, and packages for products requiring exceptionally extended shelf lives.
NiRY markets aluminum coils for a selection of areas and products, including flexible packaging, lids, paper lamination, retort, pharmaceutics, tobacco, air conditioning ducts, cables, isolation, and more.
- Main alloys: 1235, 8011, 8079.
- Thicknesses: 6-130 micron.
Shrink Sleeves
Shrink sleeves are designated for container coverage in distinct and sophisticated forms. They are "dressed" upon an object, enabling the use of the full surface of the container for printing of information and graphics.
Shrink Sleeves Films are used mostly on plastic, glass or steel containers. Such films are commonly used in a variety of markets, and especially popular amongst the food and drink fields, but also widespread in nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical, and household cleaning products.
NiRY markets a few types of films and shrink sleeves, in thickness of 40 micron and up:
- PVC – a wide range of shrinkage – up to a rate of 75%.
- PETG – a high shrink rate, enabling downgauging, convenient for printing.
- OPS – a low shrink rate, suitable for special outlined containers.
BOPET Films
The polyester film is a glossy and transparent material, easy to process, high temperature resistance, possible to be metalized and holds high barrier for oxygen and odor.
Such material is found in use of all lamination types besides tension. It is widespread in flexible food packaging, suitable for application of indirect contact with food, isolation lamination, electronics, graphics and more.
NiRY markets polyester films for distinct uses and a variety of effects: lamination and printing, digital printing, heat sealable, corona treatment, metalized, alox, coated (acrylic, copolymer) and more.
The films are supplied in 8-62 micron thicknesses.
BOPP Films
BOPP film is a transparent and glossy material, resistant in standard temperatures, scratch resistance and holds good moisture barrier.
BOPP film is used for a wide variety of purposes in the flexible packaging industry such as food products, agricultural products, welding layer in laminates for pasteurization and sterilization, textile packaging, electronics, tobacco, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and more.
NiRY markets a variety of BOPP COEX Films: for lamination and printing, for wrapping and cigarettes, corona treatment, metalized, matte, anti-fog, transparent, white, pearl, coated (PVDC, PVOH, LTS), low sealable, wrap around and more.
The Films are supplied in 15-70 micron thickness.
The variety of BOPP films marketed by NIRY hold the standard association stamp of The Standards Institution of Israel.
CPP Films
CPP Film is of high transparency and gloss, carrying a high level of execution: good welding ability, good resistance in heat and high temperature and low barrier to oxygen and moisture.
CPP is appropriate for many types of uses, such as printing and lamination, coating, anti-fog, retort and pasteurization, deep freeze, floral packaging and heat seal. Such films are commonly used in food, agriculture, floral and textile.
NiRY markets CPP Films for a various types of uses: food packaging (bread and sweets), freezing, sleeves for plants and flower pots, and stationery.
The films are supplied in 20-110 micron thicknesses.
IML Films
IML (In Mold Labeling) Films are used in manufacturing processes of rigid plastic packages. In such ways, the printed label constitutes and becomes an integral part of the injection process of the final product, enabling a pretty "no label" look of the package.
IML Films are manufactured of Polypropylene, suitable also for packaging containers of complex forms. Such labels are commonly used mainly in the fields of food, drinks and electronics.
NiRY markets a variety of IML Films: transparent, matte, white and metalized. The range of films enables a variety of finishes: glossy, orange peel and matte.
The films are supplied in 45 -70 micron thicknesses.
BOPA/NYLON Films
Polyamide/Nylon Film may be used in a variety of high level packages. BOPA is a transparent glossy material convenient for printing. The material holds excellent features of high tension strength and great flexibility, resistance in high temperatures and sterilization, suitable for retort, scratch resistant and has a good barrier for oxygen and odor.
Due to its features, BOPA Film is suitable for perishable food package, frozen or cooked, vegetables, meat and fish, and also packages of agricultural, medical or electronic products.
NiRY markets BOPA for lamination and printing, in 15-25 micron thicknesses.
